This is a video demo of Google Goggles. I’ve talked about it a fair amount before, but I think that this visual search technology is going to have an insane amount of applications, from tourism to advertising.
The video is part of a site that Google has launched called Google Demo Slam where people can upload and vote on videos that demo Google products.
TechCrunch has posted an article on some of the best video so far: A virtual road trip using Google Street View; a self administered hair cut using Google Video Chat; ordering authentic Indian food using Google Translate and the one above.
I’m not going to lie, I’m drinking the Kool-Aid (BIG TIME) on Google’s products. They’re brilliant.
