Website: citysounds.fm I love this idea. This website uses the soundcloud.com API and it allows you to listen to the new music emerging from various cities from around the world. It seems to me that it is based on the artists location and not what is playing or most popular in the city at the time. The site was created by Henrik Berggren and David Kjelkerud during Music Hack Day in London. Also, if you are interested in some great music websites check out We Are Hunted (the 99 most popular emerging songs in the world) and Awdio.com (live music that is playing in clubs rom around the world - right now).
