This is a brilliant idea. YouTube has started the Reporters’ Center channel for everyone to upload their own videos reporting on what ever they want. With blogs and personal eyewitness accounts becoming more and more accessable, “news” is now breaking in social media much quicker than on the evening news. The US Airways flight that crashed in the Hudson is a perfect example and the Mumbai Attacks is another good one.
