These mobile shopping instillations are similar to the Home Plus execution in South Korea, and it looks like the concept is taking off.
“Just in time for Christmas, giant retailers Sears and Kmart have  deployed ‘mobile shopping walls’ to turn high-traffic areas into large  catalogs. These walls feature top-selling toys from Sears and Kmart and  provide QR codes so that customers can easily scan the barcode and  purchase the item directly on their smartphone. Currently the shopping  walls have been seen in airports, malls, movie theaters and bus shelters  across the U.S.”
