This is an amazing app and the 2.0 version is even better. The NY Times could make a ton of money by being a newspaper content aggregator for all of the “big” papers around the US (and evenually the world).
In terms of payment structures, I like the idea of micro payments that the WSJ is adopting, although the NYT is asking for just under $15/month for full access to the TimesReader which feels right to me. I am also looking forward to seeing how the large screen of Kindle DX (dropping June 10) will work out for the industry.
