This is an interesting concept of “the future of the book” by international design consultancy IDEO. I am not sure if this is part of a series, similar to Micrsoft’s Future Series, but recently they have also re-imagined what the future of self-service banking might look like.

While the interface or functionality hasn’t been perfected, I think that this is an interesting demo. It shows three differnt ways that we might use the interactive and collaborative capabilities of eReader devices (like the iPad) to create a much more immersive experience.
