Kinect’s open source driver was hacked by NUI Group and released only a couple of weeks ago and already we’ve seen some amazing applications. This one by MIT Media Lab, is by far the best I’ve seen.

This is an insane interactive 360 Snowboarding video that uses yellowBird’s filming technology. If you play the video you can move your mouse to view it from any angle you like, which makes you feel like you are actually there. Amazing.

Blekko is a new-ish search engine that allows you to qualify or limit your searches using slash tags (/tag). Essentially what it does is limit your keyword search to qualified website lists that are crowdsourced by Blekko. You can also create your own qualified lists to share globally or keep private.
